1. Widly used in refinery hydrotreating, coal chemical etc., field. Packed at the top of catalyst beds by grading loading, they provide larger pore volume (including interior and interface void volume), effectively removing/accommodating machanical impurities from raw material, which inhibits the rise of catalyst pressure drop and extends the operating cycle.
